Former Assistant Professor


Crystal Burrows was an Assistant Professor in UPEI's Faculty of Business. Her course offerings included Introductory Accounting and Intermediate Accounting.

Prior to joining the Faculty of Business, Crystal acquired extensive experience in the public sector. She worked for several years as the CFO of the PEI Energy Corporation, a provincial Crown corporation with over $250 million in assets that owns and operates wind farms across PEI. She also spent a number of years as the Operations Supervisor & Senior Financial Accountant for the Province's Pensions & Benefits Section, where she oversaw the benefit administration and financial reporting for registered and non-registered pension plans with a combined accrued benefit obligation in excess of $2.5 billion.
