Biography
Adjunct Professor of Nursing
BScN, RN (StFX); MN (Calgary); PhD (Helsinki)
Dr. Kim Critchley was a professor and Dean in the School of Nursing at UPEI. She was subsequently named Dean and Chief Executive Officer of University of Calgary – Qatar (UCQ), in January 2013. She has held adjunct appointments with the University of New Brunswick School of Nursing (Honorary Research Assistant), Dalhousie University and the Memorial University Department of Graduate Studies.She has authored and co-authored numerous peer reviewed publications and is involved in several research projects. Her expertise in qualitative research methods and the inter-relation of qualitative and quantitative methods has enhanced her program of research. She has a passion for international work and holds funded projects to promote student exchange opportunities. Dr. Critchley was named Deputy Minister of Health and Wellness for the Province of Prince Edward Island in April of 2016.
