Former Assistant Professor, Small Animal Surgery


Dr. Romain Béraud joined AVC’s Department of Companion Animals in September of 2009 as a faculty member and Small Animal Surgeon.

Dr. Béraud graduated from veterinary school at Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire de Lyon, France. He completed a small animal surgical internship in Lyon and a three year residency in small animal surgery at Faculté de Médecine Vétérinaire, Université de Montréal, St. Hyacinthe, and Hôpital Vétérinaire Rive-Sud, Montréal. He also completed his Masters in Clinical Sciences at St. Hyacinthe.

Dr. Béraud has a particular interest in the academic aspects of surgery and is especially interested in neurosurgery.
