Sean Kemp has performed across the world with ensembles and artists ranging from Barbara Streisand, David Foster, Lennie Gallant, Bruce Guthro, and Classified, to the National Arts Centre Orchestra, Symphony Nova Scotia, English Chamber Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields. As a soloist and chamber musician, Sean has worked and toured with the Parnassus Ensemble, the Chilingirian String Quartet, and members of the Amadeus String Quartet, to name a few. Sean has over thirty years of experience teaching and coaching the violin and viola.


As a composer and arranger, Sean has written for film, TV and theatre, including scores for the CBC, NFB, TV5, Shaw Festival, and the Atlantic Theatre Festival. He is one of the founding members of the multiple award winning string quintet, The Atlantic String Machine.
